Pavlic - comic strips - Bookeaters

A married couple of book-eating moths, by Pavlic and Penevski, spend their days together. The combination of doing normal things couples do whilst at the same time eating books, results in all their conversations having literary puns, innuendos and hilarious punch lines.

The scriptwriter of these comic strips, Zoran Penevski, was born in 1967 in Yugoslavia. He works as a writer, scriptwriter and translator. He wrote comics for Serbian and French publishers (“Delcourt”, “Les  Humanoides”). He is the author of the novels The Flamanian Sleepwalker, 1997,  Less Important Crimes, 2005, and The Traces of Absence, 2008.
