Stevanovic - graphic novel - Kindly Corpses, part 1

A coroner (Dušan Pavlić) is confused with the new autopsy regulation by the Ministry of Death. This leads into an experimental narrative and abstract, by Stevanovic and Penevski, but highly original drawings about a virtual future and graphic conspiracy. However, there are enough witty and funny elements for the ordinary comic readers.

The scriptwriter of these comic strips, Zoran Penevski, was born in 1967 in Yugoslavia. He works as a writer, scriptwriter and translator. He wrote comics for Serbian and French publishers (“Delcourt”, “Les  Humanoides”). He is the author of the novels The Flamanian Sleepwalker, 1997,  Less Important Crimes, 2005, and The Traces of Absence, 2008.
